    Yet Another New Guy

Hello everyone, looking forward to learning a lot through this forum. Found the forum trying to figure out my harsh steering issue and think I already have the cause because of this group. I have a 2005 Bayliner 175 BR. Currently residing in Annapolis, MD. Actually live in Central Texas, but will be in MD for a while for work so picked up a boat while here. Went out this past weekend for the first time, then again on Tuesday to watch the Blue Angels at the Naval Academy. Pretty cool anchoring in the river and having them fly directly overhead. Look forward to hanging out and learning from everyone.

    Welcome to BOC.

Glad to hear you can mix in a work assignment and boating at your MD location.

Hope you have a great summer...be sure to post some pictures from some of your outings.

    Annapolis is a cool place.

I used to live in Rockville and visited Annapolis many times.

Some good memories for me at sea fair on my 1800 with the blue angel show flying directly over head.
Those are some good times 👍🏼

I’m another Blue Angels at SeaFair (Seattle, Unlimited hydros, parades, a history of 707’s, actually the Dash 80, doing barrel rolls over the racecourse) guy.

I would have loved to see the Dash 80 roll over Lake Washington. I like how some really good pilots can fly a transport category aircraft right at the limits. The Dutch Airforce used to demo their Fokker F-27's, the amount of calculations that went into the design of their show was incredible.
