Hi new here with an VR6

Hello, we are new here.

We are two friends for almost 45years and share joys and sorrows regarding the VR6 (not more ), and bought the VR6 together in 2017 in Amsterdam.
It is an VR6 from 2017 with an outboard Verado 200hp and live in the Netherlands, near Rotterdam.

Our parents have sailed inland shipping in Western Europe, and we have also been connected to the water.
My first vessel was a Seadoo XP in 1991, followed by a Bayliner 2855, Seadoo Speedster, and an RXP-X.\

Hello :-)

We have an VR6 with 200hp outboard from 20017. Which is in a harber in the South-Netherlands, near Rotterdam.


We will upload some mod's we have done, hopefully someone can use it.
If you want the (dxf/dwg) drawings, we can send them to you.

- We have the default speed clock removed, the radio, tank and rev clocks relocated. And installed an 9 inch Simrad GO9 with vesselview, also we have changed the cheap switch panels.
- Bad closing "Toilet"/cabin door lock due to an incorrectly placed "clamp". And changed it to an adjustable one, made by an 3d printer.
- Removable engine air-inlet lid, made in a 3d printer. Because it was raining in.
- Two new stainless steel brackets for the windows, instead of the cheap plastic ones.
- Large second battery with charger/230V inverter. With automatic (dis)charge relay's.
- A flagpole holder and an 12 V power connection for an solar cell placed.
- Add an power amplifier and new speakers.
- Add an Jackplate


To do:
-Change the sundeck cover above the empty engine space (cut into 2 pieces ). The horizontal piece with an electrical motor, so you can open it whitout you have to remove the rear seat. And the other lower piece connect to the rear seat

Here an update from this winter.

We have placed an jackplate
So that the motor and propeller come completely out of the water with lying still. Which is not possible with the VR6 with 200HP from before 2021.
