    Hello from Alaska

This has been a helpful forum and I’ve finally had time today to join.
I bought a 1997 Cierra 2859 about a month ago. I’m trailering it for now. Maybe I’ll sign up for the (7 year) waiting list in Whittier to get a slip.

    Welcome to the BOC!

I am in Seward, and have owned two 2859’s, both berthed in Whittier!

How long is the slip list in Seward? It’s a real town, with real stores, food, etc... and also fishing closer by.
I was hesitant to move to Seward, but once I did I wondered why I didn’t move years before!

Shrimping is better out of Wittier Kevin! Welcome to the forum. I love my 2859 and have no issues trailering it except maybe $38 tunnel fees. Check out the 289/2859 owners list. Lots of good info on there. Used to be a metric crap ton more but when this sites server went out a bunch was lost sadly. Again, welcome!
