Boating Fan gave up lurking after 18 months

    Hi Everyone-

I have been lurking for quite a while. Started when I was shopping for my new VR5 in Spring of 2017. The first boat was built with a wrong color interior so I rejected it. My replacement boat arrived just before the 4th of July 2017. It was a 2018 model built just as ordered! It has the Mercruiser 4.5 200hp Alpha drive

My first new boat was a 1998 Capri 1950CL with the 3.0 Mercruiser with an Alpha drive. We kept it until 2006.

Going 11 years without a boat was tough, but jobs and frequent moves kept us away from boating.

Glad to be back. We get to do lots of boating here in the SouthEast!
