    New Member: Hello!-gctid825668

    Hi All,

I became a Bayliner owner in July of this year. After having used a small fiberglass bass boat for a catfishing rig, I found a 1986 Bayliner Trophy Center Console boat for a good price. Lots more room and easier to clean since it doesn't have carpet. I've spent the past couple of months getting it ready for the water, and was able to get out a few weeks ago. Runs good, but sits too low in the water for my taste. I'm thinking I have soaked foam. I became a member here to assist me in my search for options, and I'm looking forward to interacting with all of the members here.

    Thank You!

    Welcome Josh!

Can't help but you've come to the right place. I know more about boating and things specific to my model than I ever thought possible. There's a wealth in good information and tips here! If I may offer a suggestion to you that will for sure give you more direct model specific info and such, and "fast track" you into what these guys can offer in BOC (if you haven't already knocked it out). From the WELCOME (NEW) dropdown menu on the forum page, select "OWNER'S LISTS" and from there you'll likely find a group "within the group" of owners of your exact boat. Say Hi there and start surfing back through all the posts. I've learned more and been able to actually start a very thorough restoration just from this site and "YTU" ( YouTube Univ) but sounds like you've been boating way longer than I and probably won't need to "research" as me LOL Again WELCOME!

Hello and welcome to BOC! Not being familiar with that particular model I can't be of much help. A photo or two of it sitting in the water may help those who are familiar with that boat give you some usable comment on your issue.
