    encounter 3050 refrigerator replacement-gctid819908

has anyone replaced the frig in the 3050. do you have to remove the entire counter

You should post some pictures. I have a conquest probably of similar age. At one point i was thinking i was going to need to remove the counter.

What I found was screws holding it in place under the corner trim piece and a few other spots. Im pretty.sure you don't need remove the counter. Keep looking

You can see one of the screws still in the wood where I pulled it out but where i put the arrows is more or less where the refrigerator was secured. I found the screws holding the refrigerator under the corner trim piece. That piece of wood finishing out the vertical edge. I dont know how yours is configured or you interior out lay but that is how mine . Bayliner did a pretty good job at hiding the screws.

I just looked at some encounter pictures and it looks real similar to mine. Same refrigerator I removed also.

Here is what I replaced mine with. I had to make a slightly different trip piece but otherwise it worked good.

      Thanks

I attached a photo. It is just below the dark glass slider in the photo

the counter is angled I don't see how to remove the frig straight out . Measurements have it hitting the stove area before it slides completely out

There are screws under outer trim that probably have plastic plugs covering the secrew holes. They can be hard to find. I take very small flat tip 1/8" or so, screw driver and run the point sling the deepest parts of the decorative shapes and look for it to catch on something. If there's a mirror or padded features directly on the next cabin bulkhead, that's also a common installation trim trick. Run the screws. In the cover the bulkhead so owners don't know where to look.

You may have to take the stove out. Think about assembling then throw it in reverse.

You may not have to take the stove out. Behind my refrigerator was a cavity that I could turn and move it. You might have the same thing
