Thanks for having this forum for Baylinef owners.
So we just purchased a 2007 195 SE. I think it's just like the BR except it has a wake tower and special SE graphics. So far the boat has been great. The horn does not work and the head unit that came with it is not the best and does not work the best either. But other than that it's great.
Today found out the hard way that the 15 amp fuse on the back of the engine controls the ignition and all those gauges. It blew somehow. Tried starting it up, let it crank then let off, went to try again and nothing. Unfortunately it has to be a different size than all the others. So being stranded on the lake sucked. Luckily we were able to get a hold of someone at the marina and they brought us out one. Replaced it and it started up. It took a while to find it though. I was looking for an inline fuse coming from the ignition switch but no luck. The 50 amp fuse in top of the motor was fine. Have no idea how you are supposed to access the 90 amp fuse on the starter solenoid.
Any tips would be great. I've owned an older Glastron before with an outboard motor. The only other water experience we have is kayaking.
Thanks and happy boating!
