New to forum- Getting back into boating-gctid808404

Hi all, I've been picking up some good info on this site so I thought I would join. Grew up in Northern Minnesota and have been living north of Green Bay for the last 35 years. We had a 1986 Capri open bow 2150 with the 4 cyl back in the early and mid 90's. Used it mainly for trolling on Lake Michigan. We kind of got out of it about 17-18 years ago and sold it. It was a very nice boat and served us well. Long story short, my son and I just purchased an '86 Capri Cuddy 2150 with the 225E. Pretty decent shape for the age and we are looking forward to Salmon fishing again. I like the Bayliner design for trolling as it offers a nice area in the rear for fishing. We had great luck with the 1st one so we decided to get another. We have had it out on The Bay a few times this spring and it runs nice. Will post a few pics in the near future and looking forward to talking to other Bayliner fans.

Welcome to the BOC. Add some information about your boat and where you live and use your boat.

Just took out points and condenser and installed electronic module. Had to adjust the timing some but it seems to be running and starts quicker. One of the few things I've ever done that went easier than expected. I'm sure my next project will make up for that.
