    1989 bayliner 2655 ciera sunbridge-gctid748633

I am having trouble trying to start my bayliner. bought two new batteries. pulled out the starter and tested it good. replaced the fuse block. still wont start. pulled the distributer cover and cleaned. The only action I get is the starter engage but will not turn to start. can it be the starter?

Is the motor turning?if not.. Is the starter clicking?if it is ..Can you rotate the motor manually?. If not pull the plugs and see if there is water is in the cylinders. Keep me updated.

If no water in cylinders, check the timing chain hasn't broken and lodged against the crank sprocket. Fingers crossed for ya that it's just a hung starter motor or faulty kill switch
