New here, nice to meet everyone

    How goes gents?

I'm currently living in Jacksonville, but considering trying to see if I can live on my boat for a month or so at a time (at first). Thinking of going all solar, if anyone has done it, looking to hear the feedback. Thanks!

Welcome to BOC. Several folks here have solar and will be able to help you out. But it will help them to know what size/model boat you have, batteries, power use requirements, etc.

Welcome! Suggest you check out the live aboard forums. It’d be helpful if you posted what model boat you have.

+1 on your signature info update. Easy to do.

Go to your "my profile" upper right of any page. Then click on the Edit button, then on the Account tab. Scroll down a ways and you should see "conversation detail options". In that section click on the "edit post signature" line and it will open a box in which you can put all the information you want to post with each of your responses. You don't have to list personal info (unless you want to) but it helps folks to know if they can help you by knowing - without asking - make & model of boat, year, power and outdrive types.

Good to see you jumping in on other posts. My HQ was in JAX Naval Air Station. Really like the JAX area & St John's river cruising.
