    Aetna Digital Tach

I have two nearly new Aetna digital tachometers for sale.

These are for diesel engines. Part number is 8402-R-B-DS (red LED, black bezel, diesel)

I mistakenly bought these for my 4788 flybridge, but LED readout is not ideal for outside/sunlit areas.

I already have Floscans inside in the pilothouse, so I don't have use for them there.

These are nearly new in that they've been installed for just a few hours.

They are easily adjustable to any diesel engine with dip switch settings on the back of the gauge.

If you've always wanted digital tachs for your pilothouse or your lower steering station then my mistake can be your gain. $200 each (normally $262 each)

You didn't already decide that, as long as they were close by?

Are these still available and what additional parts would be needed to use with Hino EH-700?

Still available. Here's a link to the installation instructions.

                  http://www.aetnaengineering.com/aetn...-instructions/

You just need to know the pulse-per-revolution and set the dip switches on the back of the unit.

Connect the 3 wires (+12, NEG, SIG) from your old tach to the new tach and you're golden.

Sorry it took so long to get back to you. I will call Aetna tomorrow a talk with them and get back to you.

Pat: This is Gary. I posted the original question. Since I am changing tachs to sell the boat, your old tachs would work fine. I am in Florida. How could I pay you for the shipping? Thanks in advance for an easy fix.
