Our son is visiting us for a week and wanted some Dungeness, so that is what we have been doing.
Been out twice fishing 4 pots between him, mom, and myself.
We have cleaned 18 thus far and will venture back out today again.
Been fishing grubs in 30-50 water to kill time and having a blast on rock sole and other fish on trout rods....I caught a 4-5 pound quillback that put up a good fight, hated to let that dinner go!
Been eating LOTS of crab prepared in many different ways, with crab Alfredo last night.

Yeah, we’ve been doing pretty well with crabbing ourselves. Lots of lady’s and barely unders, but last Friday was five, Saturday was a limit of 20 and Sunday we came in with 16. Going out for more today and the weekend with a bonus…..we going to drag some salmon gear around too.

Yesterday we left the traps in too long, they were picked clean in two hours, and I have seen underwater video where they will get out the doors as another pushes in.
They had lots of females, but the guys had skipped, with only 3 to keep. However, I did land a salmon and had other strikes as I was fishing for rock sole. They are here early, it was a pink.
