My 12 year old got his first deer with a crossbow this fall. It was pretty exciting. Anyone else hunting now that boating is over, for many of us? Let's see what you've harvested.

My dad has an approach to how bad the winter is going to be. I've already heard about how wide the dark patch is on the brown and black wooly worms being an indicator and I've seen no brown what so ever on them. Dad thinks the thickness of the back fat of the deer will also be an indication of how cold the winter is going to be. I have to work til 7am Monday morning but my stand is ready to go here in ohio as soon as I get back.1994 Bayliner Capri 1850, 3 liter Mercruiser, 9.9 Johnson kicker.
