How are our BOC members in FL?-gctid824644

There was a lot of chatter directed to those of you who stayed through Irma. Just curious if you all made out okay. If so, are you digging out? Light damage? Photos would be great.

Minimal damage to my pool cage. Appears to just need screen replacement. Stuck in NYC right now for work but headed down there at the end of the month.

Starting my 5th day on the generator(Generac 5500/8500) Purchased it during the Hurricane season of 2004. Currently brewing a pot of coffee with my MR COFFEE! Rumor has it that we will have power Sunday. Tomorrow I'll get up on the roof to take a CLOSE look. Taking cold showers is getting real old!

Keeps out bugs, birds, alligators, leaves, dirt, so the pool stays clean...keeps the ladies trapped in. :cheer:

Our family condo at Fort Myers Beach really lucked out. In fact, Fort Myers Beach was not even flooded. Power was only out for a couple of days. Only damage was 2 snapped palm trees on the condo property. Oddly enough, areas all around us as close as Bonita Springs (10 mins by car) got it real bad.
                  Cheers, Hans

Has anyone heard from Vic Stewart? From what I understood, He hung his Captains hat in Ft Myers.

The center of the eye passed 10 miles to the west of my house as a CAT 2. One house destroyed in our neighborhood a lot of car ports torn off sheds missing. I have 4 large trees on the property and they are fine thought for sure a live oak would come down. Can't believe our house survived with no damage at all.

We just got power back on today Sept 15 9:00am.

Dave I will call you Saturday.

Got up this morning @6 am and made a pot of coffee. Starting 6th day on the generator, hopefully will get power back today. Using 10 gallons a day @ $2.699 a gal., got to love that Generac.

I'm just fine. Power is back on, no house damage. Boat is fine. Irma's eye came right over the house!!!

Thanks for your concern, much appreciated.
