    Arthroscopic Knee Surgery-gctid817910

If anyone has had experience and would care to share recovery times, limitations during recovery, when I can expect to be back on my feet etc.

I have a torn meniscus in my right knee that they are going to repair today.

    Thanks. Phil.

My torn menicus repair went well. I was walking on it once the brace came off which was after only one day, then walking for exercise in a couple of days and returned to jogging within two weeks.

When they did my left knee the recovery time was over a week before I could get around "normally" . When my right knee was done by a different surgeon it was good in 2 days. I think a lot has to do with the surgeon. Both of mine were torn meniscus repairs.

No, no, no, don't let Jeff fix a knee problem bye cutting off one of your jewels.

He says you won't notice the knee with all the pain from his cut.

Just kidding he never said that.

Whiskey and a ratchet strap does not count as surgical instruments, Jeff.

No Jeff, Whiskey and a serrated knife is not what the Doctor ordered.

So far so good. I am able to get around on the knee today without the need for crutches and the pain has been very minimal.
