I had to look that up to see where it was. I just bought a place down there but further south. Any of the arsonists get caught yet? Several years ago in AZ a firefighter wantin some OT started fires.

Same issues in the Jacksonville area. Smoke is getting bad (air quality) and there is falling ash. Evacuations in St. Johns County.
They are going to let the swamp fires burn, lest they slowly turn into dry land.

Awful dry down here in Central Fla. Fires all over both large and small. The local chain of lakes is at least 1.5ft low, making going from lake to lake almost impossible. Boat ramps are getting worse. My lawn is about toast, reseeding my back yard may be a waste of time, our water bill was almost $100 this past month. I'd kill for a fraction of the rain that Douggies area got the past couple of weeks. Now that I've finished my fishin trip to TN this past week, I'm putting the boat away until OCTOBER, as boating and fishin down here is going to be a waste of time.
