I was down to the marina today and they have almost finished my gimble ring replacements. They did the replacement with out taking my engines out, tomorrow we will adjust the trim pucks and then I just need to wax her and in the water it goes. The winter was so mild that that they have all but 3 boats in the water. This is the earliest launch since the the 1950's when they bought the marina. The marina will open May 1st for the year this is just over 3 weeks early. The May 24 weekend is when they open boats in the water the week before.

Hoping for a long summer of boating the weather here is already great.

Sigh, miss messing with a boat i own to get her into the water.

So i'm going to do the next best thing, helping my best bud with his ... needs new bellows and shift cable, that bellow / bushing went, last year .

The whole shebang came in a kit with a gimbal bearing .

His son is getting married ( yea i tried to talk him outta it ) they bought a house my friend is a plumber but does everything, they gutted it, and now waiting for permits, architect, inspections etc so i think when the next sunny day we get to it.
