I have been pulling my 32ft conquest with my old 1996 ford f250. It did the job but was legally marginal as to weight.

Now that I have a Avanti 3450 it weighs in at a couple 1000 more and I didn't see any to justify. So I got a new to me truck.

It's a 20011 GMC 3500 duramax diesel. It has a 20,000 lb tow capacity which is right about where my trailer is.

Can't wait to do a pull with it.

Yeah the old beater has to go. Now just going to be a junk hauler. Last tow i hit a deer when bringing the Avanti home. It didn't really do much damage except to the bumper got bent. I was only doing about 30 when I hit it. I decided that it wasn't worth fixing even though its ust a bumper. Runs good but not worth selling either.

A buddy of mine has the single rear wheel version and loves that truck. He pulls a 30' camper and a 40' go fast with it.

Awesome truck! I just traded in my '13 single rear wheel for a new '17 dually. (Also Summit White). While I have yet to tow the boat (T-2 weeks and counting!), I don't hate driving the dually anywhere near as much as I thought I would... size-wise. It doesn't actually bother me at all. It does, however, ride like poop.

Last time I towed the Avanti which weighs 18,140 lbs empty was 175 miles. I normally tow my 32 foot conquest about 300 miles one way and it weighs in at about 18,000 also but that is when it's full.

The Avanti holds around 1600 lbs of liquids + what ever stuff I have on it. It will be pushing 20,000 loaded.

Weight doesn't bother me as much as the width does. The Avanti is 13 feet wide the conquest is 12 feet wide the rig total is about 70 feet long.

Thanks chief your motor home looks nice too really similar to mine. My motor home is a 2016 31 foot Thor toy hauler with a single drivers side slide out.

However it is actually is my mobile dental laboratory I built.
