    1993 trophy 2002 suspension seat project-gctid358427

Hi, i am installing suspension seats in my trophy, i had a local welding shop make me 2 aluminum pedastal boxs to mount my seats to, what i am wondering is if i should just glue down the boxs with an adhesive like 3m 5200, would this be enough? I am not crazy about drilling holes and running screws in the deck of my boat, but i will if i have to, i just thought maybe i could get away with just adhesive, anybody out there have any ideas? Thanks Jason

Suspension seats? Do you mean shock absorption or what? I wondered if this design was available

Hi, yes seats with shocks in them, they are made by a company in portland oregon named bentley's, theymake a seat called the mariner, it is a heavyduty seat with shocks in it,they cost 1200 dollars a piece new, the seats i have came out of a 2006 northriver aluminum boat, a friend of mine ownes, he upgraded to air ride seats, they were bolted down in his boat, i know 3 m makes that 5200 adhesive, i was hoping that would work without having to put holes in my deck
