    AC panel lights-gctid341697

I have a couple burnt out panel lights. I've looked for an LED replacement but can't find anything. I'm assuming the resistors are current limiting and the bulbs are 110 VAC. Anybody replaced these yet? Thanks.Gary.

    They look like neon bulbs.

Is the the third stripe on the resistor brown or orange?

If the stripe is orange then a Neon bulb A1C would be an ideal replacement.

I assume this unit is powered from the 110Vac.

Good thing I checked back re-edit. 3rd band is orange making the resistor 46K I think. Any difference between a A1C and C2A?

The C2A requires a different limiting resistor to operate at 110Vac.---------------------------The resistors are 47K aka 47,000 ohms.I think you will find this an exact replacement.Mfr. Part#: A1CAllied Stock#: 70152579
They are $4.21 each plus S&H

Fantastic Jim. Thank you, I'd be lost without knowing it was a neon bulb. I'll put in an order on Monday.

Note I edited my post after you replied.

But the A1C does appear to be the correct replacement.

              Here's what I did.

Go to Lowes/Home Depot, and buy an (Orange) AC polarity tester. Has three of the bulbs you need inside. $3.95. No shipping required.

Depending on how much the bulbs will cost me (shipping/handling etc..), this may be a good option. Thank.

Ok so here's what I did. Couldn't source the right bulbs locally but did get my hands on NE-2 bulbs instead (same bulb, different specs). As a result I had to replace all the 47k resistors with 100k resistors to meet the current limiting needed for this bulb spec. Works great.
