Can you share where to get that 3/4" TPT bronze nipple you referred to?

        I’ve had it for years…… I don’t recall where I got it.
You’ll need to go to a major plumbing supply company ( not one of the box stores)!

Not sure where you’re located but I get those types of bronze fittings at fisheries supply in Seattle or harbor marine in Everett.

Went to fisheries supply today and we found one that fits. They were surprised to learn the strange thread pattern. Said that must have been a change from the older ones. We grabbed a new pump from their inventory and went fitting by fitting until we found one. Its not brass, it’s like a strong black nylon. I forget the name but states with an “M” I believe. The only one that would fit.

I still have the adapters I bought just in case, but I’d prefer one connection instead of the two using the adapter.

hopefully this problem is solved.time will tell.

Here is the issue with plastic fittings.
In order to make plastic strong enough for this application, the wall thickness is increased.
When the wall thickness is increased, the ID becomes smaller.
Smaller ID = water flow restriction.

              Food for thought!

              Different topic:

Have you verified that your harmonic balancer pully has the raised alignment dowels?
If not, you'll have to find one, or........ use bushing to center-align the pump's mounting flange.

no issues with fitment and spacing, all good there.

i agree !00% with you on the thickness of plastic/nylon fitting. I still ordered the brass adapters and fittings but for now using the nylon just to keep things moving. They will be swapped over soon for that very reason.
