Hi, have 3288 twin 150 Hino's looking for small Part.

Have not been able to start Starboard engine and have missed my Haul out I waited for two months for. This year is tough for mechanical help but figured out I need a Solenoid Safety Relay that sits above the starter next to the glow plug relay and is the size of a 35mm film canister, if anyone remembers those? Has anyone knowledge where to find this little part? Much appreciated. Based in Vancouver, BC Thx and all the Best for the summer season, Robb,

Wow- the contacts must be made of unobtanium - I think I would look for alternates.

The newer Hino start safety relays will work but you will need to cut of the connector and use the old one to connect to the existing harness.

Hard to tell from Smitty’s pic but pit looks like you might be able to disassemble the relay, clean the contacts and reinstall.
