Hino EH700 Senders/Sensors values and types

Does anyone have a list of values for the EH700 sensors and senders like say fuel level senders, are they 0-190 ohm or some other value, same for temp sensor, oil pressure sender, water level sensor?

would help a great deal if any of you can provide some input - some of my gauges are dead and trying to replace them, since US Marine or the ugly colored ones are no easy find I'm trying to match some generic ones and go that route. Also if anyone has replaced the senders with generics and used them on a dual station setup how did that work?

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

oh, I have a 1988 3818 so I think any 3870/3818/3888 with 175HP EH700 would have the same senders.

I have the same year 38 as you. The gauges were made for US Marine by Faria Beade. Any of their current marine gauges will exchange easily, no wiring issues. https://www.fariabeede.com/2-pages/products_marine.php The instructions are silent on sending unit resistance, however, the technical support at Faria is excellent and will get you the best information.

thanks for the tips. Are you going with the multifunction ones? that would free up a lot of realestate for other things

No, I plan to swap like for like. I haven’t looked at the plugs for the multi function and I’m not sure I’d want to combine two functions in a two inch gauge. Looking at one set of reading per gauge is about all I can handle. I also don’t want to have a new panel built to use the 4” variety mf gauge. But that’s me.
