    engine alarm system

    my bayliner 3988 starboard 330 hp. engine alarm system test intermittently, I changed the alarm, ignition start switch no change????

    Sounds like a loose wire at one of the sensors. For me, it’s usually the oil pressure switch.

      If no alarm at “pre start” (key in “run” position) it’s Likely the low oil pressure switch is faulty or as Pete suggested the connection at that sender is compromised.

        I checked the oil pressure sender an found rust on the wire connector, problem solved thanks for the in site.
