Right sending unit for 2003 305 fuel tank?-gctid407148

So the previous owner installed an 'upgraded' sending unit on the tank on my boat. After finding a small gas leak he left a bolt out when he installed it and didn't even come close to screwing it down tight. The unit installed has a float on a pole, rather than what I would suspect would be the stock unit that would look more like a floating ball in a toilets holding tank. The unit in there is constantly binding up, so I really have no clue how much petrol is in there...A bit of a PITA. Does anyone have a good part number for the right sending unit?

Just measure from the bottom to the hole, and order it by size. And that's not an unusual type of float; it's what mine came with stock. Better than the other type.

I wouldn't mind this style particularly...With the exception of the fact that for some reason the float gets bound up on the side of the tank.
