Anybody notice that the original tape deck wiring has a common (-) for the front and back left and right speakers respectively? I was wiring up a new stereo for a client and noticed this today. What would be the impedance of the original speakers? I haven't tried removing the ones from the radar arch but client tells me it's very difficult.
I have a 98 2855 although not a sunbridge, I recently changed the speakers my old ones were 4ohms each. the common - wires were joined above the unit where the wires entered the monkey felt, not to hard to seperate but worth it as i was geting some interference when commoned together.
The Radar arch speakers were very easy to change, pull off the cover to access the screws, they may also be stuck on as well.
