GFCIs- do you know where they are located on your boat?-gctid404149

I just spent the better part of an hour tracing down an electrical gremlin that turned out to be a hidden GFCI. I now know where ALL of them are located in the 4087- please, for your own sanity, take a few mInutes to locate your boats GFCI receptacles.

On my 4087, there are 4:

Aft cabin- in the TV cabinet with the mirrored doors on the forward bulkhead.

Salon- above the power distribution panel, starboard side.

Galley- to the right of the sink

Sun deck- next to the propane locker (I added this one).

    Where are yours?

On our 305 a GFCI outlet in the bathroom cabinet protects all the outlets in the cabin / galley area.

Easy to find on my 3870, all outlets are GFCI since I rewired the boat.
