Am I missing something? (Macerator help)-gctid403307

..... so here's the short of it.... Having a boat with a head is new to me....

Went off shore fishing last weekend, about 15 mile + - while out in the middle of nowhere I thought this would be a good time to run the macerator and clear out the holding tank, Mind you it had some light use.... 2 fellas for an over nighter.... the Mrs the weekend before.... nothing big and gross in the tank that I was aware of... knowing that the tank would not have a large amount of "holdings" I took a 5 gall bucket and added additonal liquid to the system. I depressed the 2 buttons simultaniously heard the pump.... yet nothing came out of the sea cock.......... let her run for about 30 seconds + - a few, still nothing leaving the boat..... is there an additional step?.... a valve?...... hidden selector knob?....... did I need my super secret decoder ring?

The boat... 2859, Vacuflush toilet...nothing fancy

Yes there is a valve, I have the 2452 and the valve is under port side rear acess floor hatch, its probably in the position to have it vacuum out, Which in washington must be by law in the vacuum position to prevent accidental pump out overboard, Hope this help's, Doug, PS Is there spell check on this forum, I know It's bad

Don't open the seacock while the boat is on the trailer unless you do conduct a pumpout first - as you can guess, you've now got a surprise waiting in your line.
