Installing a toilet, holding tank in a 1980 2650

The Admiral says the next thing we need is a flushing toilet. She has had it with the porta potty.

The toilet will be flushed with raw water (not from shipboard), into about a 28 gal holding tank with provisions to pump out or through a macerator pump overboard (when legal to do so). The 2650 is a trailerable boat and I think most time I will be dumping into an RV drain, however, I have never seen an adapter to go from a through hull to an flexible RV type hose.

Does anyone have specific recommendations about :
1) Toilet, must be tall, but not a big footprint with a water pump system to pull in outside water.
2) Black water drain ideas for trailerable boat

I've been satisfied with my 5 oceans electric head so far. You could maybe plumb the system to allow the macerator to pump through a threaded deck type fitting but stopping off at the pump out before you retrieve the boat might be the way to go. That's what I do.

I did not know they made a conversion kit Dave! Thanks! The wife wants the electric version but i figured it would require replacing the whole assembly.

so i guess you just converted the old oem jabsco pump style toilet to this? Was there any changes to the plumbing or was it a plug and play situation?

I am also looking for something to be able to dump the tank after its on the trailer. No pump out station where we go up north here. Would be great to be able to pull into an rv dump station attach a hose and pump it out!!

I think you could plumb in a Y valve on the discharge side of the Macerator and run it to a separate deck fitting to discharge like an RV. It'd just require a threaded coupler and some flexible hose. Not a bad idea now that I'm thinking about it

Builderdude, This project starts with no head, the porta-potty is one of those hand carried units, so I am starting with no head to modify. That being said, what electric heads have members been pleased with? Displeased with?

The kit I posted just needs a bowl and lid to make it complete.
