    Trim Solenoid Replacement

I had one trim solenoid go bad on my 2000 170 Capri, so I replaced both of them just for good measure. the lower unit would not come up. I'm positive that they went in just the same way they came out as i took pictures of the wiring before I started. Now, the lower unit will come up but only when I use the 'trailer' button. The 'down' button works on the throttle but not the 'up'. any ideas?? I thought it might be the UP button on the throttle, but it worked just fine before. Thanks!

+1 look to see if the wires broke off it. It limits how far the drive can be trimmed to prevent the prop from coming out of the water. Trailer button bypasses it.
