Had a sulphur smell in the tapwater when washing the dishes on my 2355 on the weekend. Is it best to pour bleach in the tank, if so how much do i use and how long should i leave it before flushing it out ?
West marine, Walmart, any rv place sells a product called Fresh Pure. It is Sodium Hypochloride. use the recommended amount for the size of your tank. Then flush it a few times. You actually do not need to flush it but it does taste like chlorine.
Boatless at this time
A veteran is someone who, at one point in their life, wrote a blank check made payable to "The United States of America," for an amount of "up to and including their life."
I ended up using a quart of bleach, let it sit for 2 hrs then flushed it and refilled. I just use the water for washing dishes or hands. Nice not to have the sulphur smell any more.
