Latches on deck hatch.

My latches came off of my deck hatch. They are both plastic or lexan. What should I use to glue the latches back on. It needs to be strong.

I put hooks and line that can be tied inside. No
difference outside I got a new handle/latch that
was supposed to be a replacement, but I couldn't
figure how to install it. Would have been much
more of a problem anyway. I could use bungy
cord if I allowed that stuff on my boat - but I don't.
I doubt glue could hold in that application.
