    Choice of bottom paint

    Hi all,

I'm pretty new at this, so your advice on the choice of bottom paint would be very helpful. Are there particular properties of the paint I should be looking for? Brands in high regard of this community? Also, while we're at it - what about paint choice for outdrive?

    Thank you.

I think you'll get more responses if you clarify a little more... will you moor in salt/brackish/fresh water? Warm climate or cold IE Florida waters vs. PNW. What type of boat? How much time boat in the water year round or just a few months? Trailer boat? There are quite a few variables to bottom paint and what works well in one area may not work as well as another...

Thanks Dirtyface, I didn’t realize there’s so many variables. I have a 2855 located in PNW/Seatte, fresh water moorage all year round with occasional trips to the salty Puget Sound. Not using trailer.
