Recently purchased a used trailer for our 1987 2855 contessa When I purchased the trailer there was a 30 ft Silverton sitting on the trailer The trailer has rollers ( Lots of them) I have never load my 2855 ,onto this trailer. Should I have the marina load the boat using a fork lift the first time to check for proper fitt or just try to float the boat onto the trailer or is there a way to get the dimensions needed for roller placement for the 2855 the Silverton 30 fit nicely on the trailer. Of course when I went to pick up the trailer it was empty

I would absolutely try floating the boat onto the trailer, as I recall, rollers are pretty flexible.

Very nice trailer! Lucky find. Yes, float it on. The only difference may be in the overall length and the center of gravity which would require to loosen (NOT REMOVE) the bow upright post and adjust to new position, Only move the upright if you are dissatisfied after loading it, and launching it. ... Have someone up at the winch to watch as the bow sprit and anchor may want to come down onto the winch... the bow eyelet height and the rake of the bow are the places to watch.. But try it As Is. You will not hurt the boat with your roller trailer.
Just to see if you are way out of wack, You should have the 'Boat Sling' markers on the side of the boat, try to find the mid-point fore and aft, and place that forward of the center of the axles about 6 inches. Just an Idea here.

You may want to verify that you don't have any expensive transducers or fairing blocks on the bottom of your hull that may get damaged. Scoop style thru hull fittings can conflict as well.
