    New 5.7 Vortec installed-gctid826103

    Finally I got the new engine installed.



    Finished Enginestringers and new Stainless steel motormounts, added removable Bilge pumps.





    The big black thing in position.

                    Did you weld those bolts on the underside of the motor mount plates?

                    Your mount definitely looks sturdier than the 4 wood lag screws that Bayliner used.

                      I Made threads in the 14 mm stainless steel and secured the bolts with Loctite 603, some real strong stuff.

                      I made these mounts to prevent the shock absorbers from sagging in the new stringers.
