1992 Ciera Sunbridge 2855 Bravo 2 upgrade to Bravo 3-gctid823593

I have a 1992 Ciera Sunbridge 2855 with a 7.4L 454 MAG Bravo GEN V. In 1992 it came with a Bravo 2 outdrive. I have located a lower drive from a 2005 5.0L, 2.20 ratio.

From my research I think that should be a direct replacement. Im looking for any experience that could confirm this. Am I correct that my 1992 7.4L would also be geared with the 2.20 ratio. They didnt start equipping my model with the Bravo 3 until 1996 and I would like to update it to those specs.

Any concerns, changes, advice?

Also, I am trying to find out what size props I would need. If someone could tell me what their newer combo has, or advice as to what I should get I would be very appreciative.

I don't think that is the correct gearing for a big block. I thought the big blocks ran a 1.8 as they produce their horse power at a lower RPM. I would carefully research it before purchasing it.

the Bravo 2 serial Number is 744451

I can't help on the gear ratios, but my 2000 2858 7.4 MPI Bravo 3 has 20" pitch props. I'll look for my gear ratio.
