    Video input Garmin 721xs-gctid823150

Hi, considering to add a small camera on my boat and use the Garmin GPSMAP 721xs to display the image.

Can I add a standard cheap one (Ebay Surveilance camera) via the BNC connector or do I really have to buy the very expensive ones from Garmin??

    Anyone with experience?

Use the cheap ones from any security system. I have two on my boat wired into the garmins. Works great to see whats behind you or if someone is on the rear deck.

SS, are your cameras Wifi or wired? Infra-red too?
