I'm leaking fluid from the fly bridge helm. Any ideas as to what could be causing this and how do I fix it? Is there a

    rebuild kit?

    Hi Itriple,

Most likely the steering shaft seal has worn out. There are several threads concerning the kit and rebuilding. Most likely you have a Hynautic unit, look on the back for the model number. Here's a link to their site for kits: http://www.seastarsolutions.com/supp...ynautic-helms/

Here's a step by step process with photos: http://www.local1259iaff.org/hydraulichelmrebuild.html

I've rebuilt both of mine, just take it slow...

      These are for "Hynautic" units.

Yours may be "Wagner" units. If they are, parts are available in Seattle and Vancouver BC. Just google Wagner steering.
