Anyone have any idea what the black hose in the picture is? (Not the exhaust bellows, the smaller one to the left.)

It appears to have a nylon plug (it's in the middle of the upper half of the picture below) in the engine compartment so maybe it has no application in my boat.

That is a exhaust relief port and needs to be functional.

Here is a pic. Not exactly like yours but you get the idea. You will need to remove the engine to fix it. Do you have ThruHull Exhaust? If not
