    Carbon monoxide in 2003 245 ciera-gctid816583

We have a 2003 245 Ciera with a 350 Mag and bravo III outdrive. Our CO2 alarm keeps going off and we may have issue in drive area. Does anyone have information on what might be causing this issue.

    First, welcome to BOC!

Two possibilities. Can't speak to the carbon monoxide other than bad exhaust, but it could also a faulty CO monitor. Had one that went off every time we even farted. Replaced it and no issues.

Could be a weak boat battery, or if is original, could be past its useful life. They have a limited lifespan and beep intermittently when they reach it.

What does "may have an issue in the drive area' mean?
