Help. Purchased '06 BL 175 3.0 MerCruiser in 3.2017. Ran fine the first time we took it out. 2nd time out, slowed down for a bit, then accelerated and the boat died. Had to be towed in, took it into the shop. All the mech could find was a blown fuse and couldn't get the same thing to happen again. Paid the bill and took the boat out. Was dead in the water from the get go...turned the key and nothing, no sound, nothing. Back to the shop, said they found a blown fuse but again could not duplicate the problem. They did disconnect the tach as it was bouncing constantly when the boat did run, replaced the fuse, got it running and again weren't able to reproduce the malfunction. Sent us off with spare fuses. Had the boat out again 3-4 more times and it happened again. Changed the fuse and we were up and running. 4th of July put the boat in the water to go watch fireworks, boat started, drove it from the boat launch over the the dock to get hubby, and it died when we throttled down to come into the pier. Blew 7 fuses and it never did start. We were able to paddle back in. We have checked everything we know to check (which isn't much as we are novices), taken it in for service at least twice since owning the boat 3 1/2 months and it we are back to it not starting at all. So frustrated as its a beautiful weekend and we are WATCHING the boats go by... Any body with any ideas or have any experience with this type of problem? Know where to start with this issue cuz the mechanics don't seem to have a clue...

Thanks for your response! I can tell you that is is supposed to b a 15 fuse & has been replaced by 20. It blows both e'd very time we turn the let. As to which fuse... were 2 going to take a pic and post bc we cant tell. The wiring b diagram that wee have doesn't appear to be very clear.
It is the fuse surrounded by white marking. The Marko b was pout oon by the mechanics last things they worked on the boat. It's connected to a re/ blue wire.
