Bleeding Air From My Mit(39)s Diesel Engine-gctid816116

Back on June 2, I posted a topic about how I rah out of fuel. Now I need to bleed the air out of the engines on by 3870. Can anyone give me the proper procedure for doing this? Do I crack the lines going to the injectors and pump until I see fuel coming out or do I crack the return lines on the top of the injectors?
Just love being on my 3870............Bill

I used to bleed the air out of Stanadyne pumps by attaching a vacuum bleeder jar to the return line on the injection pump. Pumping up a good vacuum and walking away for a while. You should not have to crack the lines.
