So, I spun my stainless prop on the back of my Alpha 1 out drive by hand and it has a wobble. I'm pretty sure the output shaft is bent. What should I do to properly repair this? Is this something a backyard mechanic can do?
I just got my boat back from service and the tech noticed a wobble in my shaft. He noted a .034" propshaft runout and stated it was within tolerance. It is noticeable but has little impact on performance.
