Master DC switch, 3818 1988 Bayliner on or off-gctid815870

When plugged into shore power, do you leave the Master DC switch on or off ?

It seems when I turn it off, many parts of the boat don;t work, including the aft bilge pump.

    Thanks

I always leave my House Bank Main Battery switch on when we are on the boat. All the lights, stereo, vhf etc run off the house bank. I do shut off the generator and start Main Battery switches off until needed.

The main DC breaker on the panel at the lower helm I almost never shut off.

I agree with MacPhid, I always leave my master DC breaker on. I don't remember when the last time I turned it off.
