Well, you can look at wiring to tach and make sure the wires are connected securely. They could have broken the signal wire or messed up the connection if they were working in that area.

Better option is take it back and make them fix it for free.

I have a question on my 2005 Bayliner 185. The RPM gauge is jumping all over. It has worked well until recently. This began after the marina install a Hummingbird HDR 650 depth gauge. What can I do to fix the RPM issue. Thank You
