Removed the power steering pump and bracket from the 5.7 on my project 2556 ( Will use them on my new engine). Seams like the long bolt (blue line) prevents the pump to be removed from the bracket. There is a slim nut (red line), can i remove the bolt by loosening the nut, and if so does it open up counter clockwise? Have never worked on a power steering pump before so don't have a clue....
