    Bayliner 2252 Engine Seized-gctid813764

Hi, I'm a Bayliner 2252 owner. The boat has stood for three years and the engine has seized and won't turn over.

Any suggestions on how to solve this problem?

You sure it's the engine seized ?

      Remove the drive first .

I'd ensure the condition of the battery is good, battery cables and connections are solid (no corrosion etc.) and the starter is up for the task. If she won't crank over with the spark plugs removed then onto the things that chief suggested.

Don't fill with diesel until you verify that it is indeed seized. Just remove the plugs and spray some light oil in the cylinders. Let that sit for a bit. Then try to crank it over. If it doesn't crank, check the starter. It may be seized.

Also you can try rotating it from the crankshaft balancer. Use one of https://m.summitracing.com/parts/sme...: <br /> these or similar so you don't snap the crank bolt.
