Your boat/engine is approx 31 years old. Your crankshaft seawater pump may have been replaced by now.

OEM may have been Johnson.... or it may have been Jabsco!

      Questions:

How many screws secure the cover...... 4 or 6?

Is the impeller splined to the shaft...... or is it keyed to the shaft?

How deep is the impeller cavity? In other words..... what would the ideal thickness of the impeller be IF it sat proud of the pump by .010" or so?????

I have a reason for asking these questions!
