3L ticking lifter and leaky trim cylinder repair rough cost??-gctid398124

Normally I do my own maintenance but I just had double hernia surgery. Just wondering how bad I'm going to get get hit up for a ticking lifter on a 2011 mercruiser 3.0L 40hrs and a leaky trim cylinder? Local shop is $88/hr. I don't think it would take me longer than about 3 hrs tops to reset all lifters and I'm not master mechanic by any means. I've flushed the fluid all out of the trim cylinders before and that took maybe an hour and I would think about an hr per cylinder. So I'm hoping this will be $500 or less. Anyone had either of these done? What did it cost? Or if anyone knows book hrs on these. Thxs

wouldn't you have a warranty on that motor since its a 2011, I no I have a 2 year warranty and I think the 2012 motors have a 5 year if I.m not mistaken

Got it from Michigan Motorz, 1yr warranty and it's out.
