what is the most durable and dependable macerator pump?-gctid812321

I need a new macerator pump and it has been said that they all seem to have their problems, but is there one that is somewhat better than all the others?

I readily admit that I have a very limited knowledge of macerator pumps, but it is my opinion that a macerator pump is not really needed, as any centrifugal pump should work because when the waste is pumped out thru any type of centrifugal pump, it will be macerated as it passes thru the pump...

has anyone used another type or brand of pump to pump out their tank? thanks

OK.... Gotta ask; Where are you located? It's against the law to discharge in US waters and outside US waters it still needs to be macerated.

If you're simply pumping out at your home, a macerator should last forever.

If you have macerating toilets then a bellows style pump is the way to go for discharge.

Spendy on the initial purchase but they last where the original style are basically disposable since the seals just don't hold up in them and rot out the motor/bushings in a hurry.
